About the team

This position is responsible for the day-to-day, business-as-usual, support of the Unix server environments. This includes the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the Unix environments.

What you will be doing

• Work with internal support functions and onsite teams in resolving / preventing issues / escalations

• Should be supporting in 24×7 mode

• Mentor staff to ensure all duties are performed in an accurate and timely manner.

• Plans and maintains efficient operations by designing, implementing and evaluating level one operations process.

  What you bring:

• Linux & VMware Administration L2/L3 skills & ITIL.

• Advanced working knowledge and experience with Linux and Puppet/Ansible.

• Shell Scripting, Automation[Ansible, Jenkins etc].

• Troubleshooting experience on Linux and VMware platform.

• Familiar/aware of ITIL procedures.

• Good communication and client handling skills

  Added bonus if you have:

• Knowledge of FIS’ products and services

• Knowledge of Nagios Monitoring Tool

• Knowledge of financial services industry

• Knowledge of basic financial analysis principles and ratios
