Fiserv Hiring for Ondot – Sr. Associate, Software Development Engineering (Java) at Bengaluru, India Full Time

The role:

As a Software Engineer, you will be part of the Product Engineering team responsible for building the backend software for card control and policy management. You are expected to design and develop the backend card control and management infrastructure and apply troubleshooting skills to challenging problems associated with complex enterprise environments at extreme scale. This role requires viewing at the product requirements from a high level and making decisions in the areas owned.

What you will do:

• Work closely with product managers, systems architects and immediate team to effectively develop backend systems.

• Troubleshoot issues reported and provide maintainable software fixes

• Review design documents, code, test cases and unit tests of other global team members

• Assist in the development of standards, procedures and guidelines to improve the development process.

• Take initiatives and work independently to meet organizational priorities

• Be a team player in a global team that works round the clock to meet customer needs

What you should have:

• Self-motivated, results-oriented individual, who can work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changes to meet customer requirements

• 1 to 3 years of software developer experience with good experience in Core Java, HTML5, Angular, UNIX & Linux.

• 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience of building large scale data processing systems with relational and NoSQL databases.

• Experience in Java technology frameworks including: Spring Boot, JUnit, JDBC, JPA and Hibernate.

• Experience in JSON & XML technologies

• Experience in data migration, transformation, and processing in different formats and languages.

• Experience with designing and developing micro services based, linearly scalable applications.

• Working experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

• Strong Analytical, problem solving and communication skills

• Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred) in, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
