Job Description

In this role you will assist in the installation of DNA and DNA surround products and work closely with the System Engineer, Tech Lead. Also support the DNA testing team to ensure environments are configured and maintained and are available for different tasks. Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Creation and Upgrades of DNA environments.
• Build installation and installer testing.
• Reviewing different installation document for final signoff as per installation process.
• Trouble shooting and resolving environment issues which involves issues in Database, DNA, peripheral devices (Printer, scanners), networking, servers used in testing.
• Tracking, troubleshooting and reporting the build issues.
• Responsible for creating and managing templates/configurationin skytap cloud environment.
• Deployment and management of DNA in Citrix environment.
• Administration and management of all QA servers.
• Tracking and Maintenance and utilization of QA Servers.
• Configuration and integration third party applications for DNA.
• Installation of other products and features like CCM, CMC, Tmagic, shared teller etc.
• Also involved in handling oracle and SQL server database management.
• Create VM templates that scale across multiple teams and their products using skytap.
• Build, manage, and maintain Windows Server and Workstation virtual machines as required for the projects.
• Create and install configurations that can be used to test enterprise software.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

• Education
  • Bachelor degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Minimum 4-5 years’ experience required

Technical

• Understanding of windows servers and basic networking.
• Understanding of virtual machines and virtualization technologies like Vmware and hyper-v.
• Understanding of oracle and SQL databases.
• Should be able to write and use pl/sql queries as required.
• Experience with any scripting languages is a plus.
• Exposure to SDLC process and the role of QA in software development.
• Strong analytic and troubleshooting skills and ready for off hours support as required.
• The ideal candidate will have an interest in improving software reliability and quality through testing installers for installation and deployment issues.
• Experience in banking domain will be an advantage.

• Task orientation (organized, methodic, prioritized, knows how to deliver results on time and according to the work plans)
• Good communication skills ( both written and verbal)
• Excellent interpersonal skill set with a self-starting attitude, team-player, and flexibility. A fast learner (new system and test equipment applications) and high degree of creativity and initiative.
