Role
We are looking suitable candidate for purchase department for our Bawal Plant.
Your responsibilities
Examine and analyze purchase requisitions for completeness and accuracy of information.
Send RFQ to project approved vendors. Follow-up for offers.
Coordinates with engineering department for any technical clarifications
Prepare estimation and Bid evaluation sheet.
Collaborate with Category managers and PMPs to get best from the suppliers.
Send Order approval sheet to PMPs.
Prepare Purchase order in ERP system (Oracle) and send approved POs to suppliers.
Follow up purchase order acknowledgement.
Escalates potential issues.
Process vendor invoices and follows up till payment is made, and retention is paid / bank guarantee expires.
Responsible for maintaining healthy relationships with suppliers.
Coordinates with engineering for drawing approvals,
Coordinate with different operational procurement groups during project Execution.
What you bring
Knowledge in mining Industry Products such Mills or crushers or floatation cells or thickeners
Good Estimation & Negotiation skills.
Sound Knowledge in commercial terms & conditions.
Good Communication Skills
Flexibility, adaptability, and collaborative
Pursuing Decision making Operational/Tactical Procurement
Supplier Management and Development
Self-driven
Education Qualification
Bachelor’s Engineering degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics from a reputed University.
Experience
4 to 6 years of experience in a Procurement role in Mining Project Industry
