Ford Motor Company Hiring for Engineer ED & BOM at Chennai, India Full Time

Prior experience of performing benchmarking, packaging studies on electrical modules/systems and defining their locations in vehicle.

• Should be able to independently design attachment scheme or bracket design for electrical modules/systems and to take technical decisions with D&R Engineers and suppliers as required.

• CAD experience in Wiring harness, wiring optimization studies and drawing creation.

• Collaborate closely with the Electrical & Electronics Systems Engineering (EESE) team to support requests and develop engineered solutions.

• Conversant with Vehicle Architecture, Vehicle Aggregate Groups, Sub- Groups, Systems and Sub- Systems.

• Proficient in deciding manufacturing feasibility, assembly and service feasibility.

• Strong communication skill is mandatory to handle Program Stake Holders & Suppliers.

• Good Knowledge in Teamcenter Engineering & Vismockup.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others.

• Highly committed and motivated. Should be a self-starter.
