Ford Motor Company Hiring for Solution Architect at India Full Time

The right candidate will need to have strong technical acumen esp. on Java/Cloud based architecture, micro-service/12 factor architecture and technologies. You will be involved to develop strategic directions, perform PoCs, work with peer Enterprise Architecture group and related management/leadership teams. You will provide advisory and technical consulting across Key initiatives including product evaluations, security, architecture assessments, integration considerations, etc.

-Create conceptual architecture design proposals from business requirements

-Support translating design proposal into proof of concept with hands on development work as required

-Be a key member of a product team participating in their agile ceremonies

-Create business and data flow / integration diagrams

-Assist in applying strategy and raise issues and risks with integration and interoperability strategy

-Review and ensure actual solutions meet the conceptual design and aligns with strategic objective

-Guide/Support product teams around the micro service architecture and other IT Operations (ITO) processes

-Provides support to product teams on application performance issues

-Support vendor solution evaluation processes

-Work on multiple projects simultaneously

MUST have:

• Overall 7+ years in IT with gradual experience of application development, support and architecture. Recent 2-3 years role as Solution Architect

• Good knowledge / development experience on multiple technologies (esp. Java/Cloud technologies) and patterns, related architecture including: cloud hosting, APIs/micro services and integration solutions

​• The drive to follow an idea to its logical conclusion and ability to present to management in a clear and concise manner.

• Demonstrate ability on problem analysis/resolution and productivity improvements.

• Understand and closely work with PDO and business teams

• Ability to work hands-on when needed to support the PDO team

• Strong team player, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to continuously learn, innovate and grow self and team

• Willingness to be flexible and seek ideas/inputs from others and collaborate

NICE to have:

• Certification: TOGAF / Any cloud Architecture

• Knowledge/Experience and understanding of business process in Automotive or any other sector business processes. Experience in Automotive space – esp. Marketing & Sales of vehicles business processes

• Knowledge on Blueprints

• Knowledge and work experience in GCP & its services, APIGEE

• Knowledge on NodeJs, ReactJs, Angular and Knowledge on Mobile apps, mobile app interaction with backend preferred.

• Knowledge or development CI/CD techniques and tooling

• Self-researcher, ability to research a technology and provide insight to project team.
