What is the Analyst – ETF Ops & Admin Group responsible for?
Reporting to the Supervisor of Global ETF Operations and Administration team, the incumbent will monitor all aspects of Funds’ operations (including, but not limited to oversight / performing capital activity, cash/asset reconciliations, corporate actions, expenses, securities pricing, NAV oversight , tax and audit support); and ensure certain regulatory & financial reporting functions are reviewed in accordance with each jurisdiction Financial Reporting Standards.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Analyst – ETF Ops & Admin?
Perform all daily work within policy and procedural guidelines.
Monitor the daily ETF basket creation and liquidations including accounting for the same
Perform daily cash and position reconciliations and ensure accurate cash reporting and projections to the portfolio management team.
Analyze daily reports and NAV fluctuations and comply with price error guidelines.
Work with fund service providers (Fund administrator and Custodian) to ensure the timely and accurate release of NAV’s and completion of all daily tasks, and departmental reporting requirements.
Provide client service by taking responsibility for day-to-day client queries and issues (all internal and external touch points and the Portfolio Management team).
Ensure the timely and accurate completion of daily and periodic requirements, internally & externally.
Support the global fund tax operations and filings
Review monthly expense ratio computations, and review expenses/payments for accuracy and reasonableness.
Review the funds’ fiscal year end expense analyses to ensure the final expense accruals are reasonable and consistent.
Review components of trial balance to address any queries
Assist in review of financial statements and additional local regulatory reporting.
Work with internal/external auditors on audits and ensure a smooth audit process.
Ensures successful and timely completion of assigned project tasks.
What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?
University degree in accounting or business. CA Inter candidate would be preferable.
At least 2- 4 years of experience on financial accounting/ reporting experience is required, experience on NAV Analysis and Reconciliation process will be considered favorably.
Strong knowledge of GAAP & IFRS standards.
Candidate with Mutual Fund Regulatory Environment
Candidates with audit experience background will be an added advantage.
Basic knowledge of mutual fund industry regulations and accounting standards.
Basic knowledge of Global ETF operations
Knowledge of business desktop applications (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Windows, etc.).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to details & well organized.
Able to work independently, take initiative and demonstrate accountability.
Able to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
Adapts positively to change.
Displays client service focus.
Effectively resolves problems and makes quality decisions.

Shift Work Timings – 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM IST / 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST
