Overview

Looking for an optical networking professional who values connecting with people, working hard and has a curiosity-driven desire to learn. They will join the Technology Business Unit (TBU) Product Management team to focus on product lifecycle for the FLASHWAVE product portfolio. The role requires strong communication with engineering to discuss product requirements, offer up technical ideas to drive the business and make decisions effecting the program. They will drive roadmap, balance redesign costs and revenue tradeoffs, support the product post sale and manage the product lifecycle for the portfolio. Taking initiative, strong communication and organizational skills are critical to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities & Success Factors

· Own the relationship and collaboration with Fujitsu’s engineering teams for FLASHWAVE activity

· Own communication back to North American FLASHWAVE PLM team for technical issue status, resolution and path forward

· Collaborate with North American FLASHWAVE PLM team in packaging field issue resolution paths and EOL planning decisions

· Own investigation of technical product requirements into roadmaps and roadmap execution constraints

· FLASHWAVE PLM team lead for engineering investigation of network/product issues escalated from FTAC and PSE

· Work closely with software management product teams to ensure required provisioning and management of products is included in the software management product roadmap

· Develop Methods Of Procedures in the areas product operations and upgrades

· Review technical documentation for technical accuracy and usability as well as provide input on content

· Strong communication and presentation skills to enable meeting with engineering and internal stakeholders

· Anticipate issues and coordinate resolution before they impact the business, customers and/or key relationships

Qualifications

· Physically located in India to enable working with India and Japan times zones.

· Available for central time zone meetings as needed.

· Experience in product line management roles and responsibilities is beneficial (but not required)

· Established relationships across different organizations within Fujitsu is a plus

· Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Business degree preferred

Qualifications:

BE/BTECH/ME/MTECH in CS/EE/ECE is preferred
