Gaiagen Technologies Hiring for Junior Scientest -Entomology at Bangalore Full Time

Required qualification:

• Ph.D. from any reputed national or international university in any life sciences disciplines, specialized in agricultural entomology/ entomology/ chemical ecology/biology (or equivalent), preferably with 1-year experience in laboratory-based position at any reputed institute/R&D organization.
• M.Sc. or M.Tech. from any reputed national or international university in any Life Science disciplines specializing in agricultural entomology/ entomology/ chemical ecology/biology (or equivalent).
• B.Sc. or B.Tech. from any reputed national or international university in any Life Science disciplines with Chemistry as one of the minor subjects or equivalent.

Job Description:

• Experience in rearing and multiplication of insects/nematodes/pathogens.
• Execution of protocols and experiments as per the advice and/or design provided by the Senior Scientist and/or Lead scientist.
• Executing product improvement cycles and new product development projects and miscellaneous collaborative projects.
• Contributing to developing and/or revising standard operating procedures, data collection tools, and databases for all assigned projects.
• Preparing reports, data tabulation, data analysis and documenting all assigned projects in logbooks and designated drives.
• Meeting miscellaneous requirements of the departments such as instrumentation maintenance, providing specifications for indenting, and stock maintenance, etc. with Technical Officer and/or Asset and Inventory Manager.
• Following all the guidelines as and when they are provided.
• Observing high health and safety standards.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
