Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) Looking For Program Managers – Higher Studies at Bengaluru, Karnataka, Full Time

The incumbent will be responsible for guiding students aspiring for alternate careers, excluding Campus Placements, family business, and Entrepreneurship – through individual and group sessions. He/ she will be responsible for providing comprehensive information and guidance on:

A. Higher Studies (India/Abroad), including Research

• Universities and course options for India and other countries
• Entrance criteria: Entrance exams, Application components, Other admission criteria like interviews
• Guidance for accessing free resources for test preparation
• Guidance for University shortlisting, application components, SOPs
• Scholarship options: Public scholarships, Fellowships, University funding

i) Organize sessions by external resources, wherever required:

• Test prep experts
• Alumni from Top institutions
• Industry professionals
• Representatives from the Top 200 ranked Universities

ii) Organize Education Fairs

• On campus
• Represented by selected universities

iii) Form Partnerships/ Service agreements, if required

• Selected Test prep organizations
• Selected admission counseling institutions

iv) Identify high-performing students

• With the potential to get admission to top Institutions
• Work on their profile along with the academic team and selected service providers
• Help in submitting a strong application

B. Civil Services/Defense Services/Government Services (State, Central, Banks, etc.)

Identifying interested students and guiding them through:

• Orientation sessions from personnel from the respective fields
• Sessions on the various steps of the selection process and tips for clearing the steps
• Identifying professionals from the field interested in providing mentoring support for the students and connecting them with the students
• Follow up with the students regarding their preparation and seriousness in continuing

C. Any other Option

• Supporting students looking for any other career, excluding the above, and guiding them appropriately, personally or taking
• external support role & responsibilities
