The Challenge

Senior Data Engineer for Data Intelligence team will be responsible for designing a strategic roadmap, project plan, technical design/architecture, and implementation guidance to successfully meet data modeling across the business processes encompassing Order, Ship, Bill for both Finished goods and Parts business. Good experience in designing highly scalable ETL processes with complex data transformations, from dissimilar sources. Functional knowledge of Supply Chain, Order ship bill and Finance is essential to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.

What you will Do

Senior Data Engineer interact with business users to understand the requirements and partner with functional teams to own the solutioning and development of Business Intelligence and insights. Key Responsibilities: • Interact with business for gathering the Reports / Dashboards requirements and to define business and functional specifications • Extrapolate business requirements, practices, and procedures into design specifications as per BI reporting standards • Understand reporting database environments, processes, and associated applications • Study existing dissimilar sources, data structures and data flow to identify the gaps • Involve in design and development of ETL, data modeling and define function based subject areas • Develop interactive dashboards, Scorecards, KPIs and role-based reports • Lead performance tuning by implementing various strategies like parallel execution, partitions, materialized/aggregated views etc. • Point of contact for assigned solutions throughout the implementation. Ensure solutions align with the business imperatives. • Develop or lead development, test, migrate, and launch solutions, often several in parallel. • Obtain required signoffs at each phase and own assigned solutions from start to finish. • Ensure solutions meet standards, get built on-time, and get transitioned to Ops after launches. • Lead and coach data analysts and developers to deliver in a rapid deployment environment • Ensure continuous delivery & drive initiatives to automate processes • Continuous learning – Support our Data Intelligence platform modernization by leading the skill transformation leveraging Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud architecture

What you need to Succeed

Position Requirement • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or MCA • 12+ years of IT experience • At least 8 years of Business Intelligence experience • Experience on any ETL tool (ODI preferred), OBIEE • Strong technical/functional skills in BIAPPS/OBIA • Extensive experience with SQL and data analysis • Ability to elicit requirements and perform data analysis independently • Architect and build Business Intelligence solution independently • Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets is preferred • Functional skills in Supply Chain, Order, Ship & Bill & Procure to Pay • Excellent communication, organized and effective in handling multi-tasks • Independently interact with global business users • Collaborate with cross functional teams • Owns customer’s experience and takes stake in customer’s success • Committed to helping customer win • Listens to understand and challenges assumptions • Thinks outside the box, takes risks

• Experience on lift & shift on-prem solutions to Cloud • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Oracle Analytics cloud) and Data Science concept
