The Staff Data & Information architect will be responsible for building data and analytical solution for Customer Digital Experience (CDx) with standard design & architecture patterns driving data modeling, data engineering and data outcomes. You will also work with cross functional teams in GE Healthcare to make the data usable for functional users, Data Scientists and Applications to enable delivery of business values to customers.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
In this role you will:

• Drive design and architecture for Data Transformation & aggregations, design and development of a roadmap, design pattern, and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.
• Identify and align major types and sources of data necessary to support business requirement.
• Drive how identified data is sed, stored, managed within the organization’s Data & Analytics Technology stack.
• Build and own Customer Data Fabric data model in support of horizontal Customer Digital Experience and other key initiatives.
• Drive Privacy & Security Controls for Sensitive data, PHI data classification and enable data access patterns based on data consumption for functional users, Data Scientists and Applications
• Technical contact for stakeholders for Data modeling, data entities , & data quality
• Leverage and build-on domain expertise in Customer/Commercial space including digital, virtual and physical customer touchpoints across pre-purchase, purchase and post-purchase phases
• Drive Data Engineering standards within the team and meet all business/project metrics
• Participates in the data domain technical and business discussions relative to future architect direction.
• Gathers and analyzes data and develops architectural requirements at Product level.
• Supports the development data and data delivery platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components that can be orchestrated together into different methods for different businesses.
• Researches and evaluates emerging data technology, industry and market trends to assist in product development and/or operational support activities.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
• 10+Years of experience in the relevant industry
• Expertise in AWS compute, storage & Big data services – EMR, Spark, Redshift, S3, Glue, Step Functions, Lambda serverless, EKS, SageMaker, Dynamo DB etc.
• Experience in one or more ETL platforms
• Experience in Data warehousing, Data & Dimensional modeling and concepts.
• Domain expertise in products such as Salesforce, Adobe Analytics, Marketo, Hybris, Oracle eBusiness suite along with their respective data structures will be big plus.
• Experience in one or more data visualization tool like Spotfire, Power BI etc.[Demonstrated ability to translate user needs and requirements into design alternatives
• Effective team player with strong communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively / clearly at different levels in the organization

Desired Skills:

• Adept at navigating the organizational matrix; understanding people’s roles, can foresee obstacles, identify workarounds, leverage resources and rally teammates.
• Understand how internal and/or external business model works and facilitate active customer engagement
• Able to articulate the value of what is most important to the business/customer to achieve outcomes
• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification or equivalent quality certification
