Summary

As part of the Imaging Cyber Security team, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing and implementing security systems to ensure security/safety of GE Healthcare medical devices and the ecosystem they operate in. Prevention of breach of IP Security and Cyber-attacks are the focal areas.
This role requires a strategic understanding of the business, customer/ patient needs, product technology and the purpose & values of GE Healthcare to successfully deliver on the group priorities. A deep understanding of the latest security standards, systems, protocols and security products is needed.

In this role, you will:

• Proactively drive the security requirements phase along with the architect & product owner(s). Develop security requirements.
• Drive feature implementations in line with the architecture via designs, coding , reviews and tests. Perform Proof of concept activities as necessary.
• Engage in technical discussions; participate in technical designs and present technical ideas through white boarding
• Review current system security measures and implement enhancements
• Perform security and privacy assessments which includes Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing to determine compliance and security posture.
• Respond to all security incidents and provide post event, root cause analysis
• Implement security control across the technology stack to meet security and compliance requirements for IaaS, Paas, and SaaS
• Developing and deploying Encryption, Key Management and Identity and Access Management solutions.
• Ensure code quality, test coverage and adherence to different quality metrics
• With a platform mindset, ensure the implementation results in a reusable software asset across Imaging modalities
• Attention to details, ensure the non-functional requirements are considered in implementation and test
• Apply principles of Software Development Life Cycle and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques
• Bring rigor in software development, follow Test Driven Development TDD/BDD- Behavior Driven Development ways of development

Education Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
• A minimum of 12 years of professional experience in software development
• Hands on experience in software development covering full stack (Core Java, REST, Java/Node, HTML5, Angular8)

• Demonstrated experience with global product releases throughout the product introduction cycle
• Clear communicator with strong written and oral communication skills
• Self-starter, problem solver, results oriented and ability to multi-task
• Ability to mentor/ coach others in the team.
• Sound understanding of security technologies/techniques like Cryptography, Algorithms, Public key Infrastructure (PKI) Certificate Authority (CA), Hardware/embedded authentication, OAuth, 2-factor authentication
• Experience in Agile development practices: Test Driven Development (TDD), Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Scrum.
• Experience in MicroServices using RESTful frameworks
• Experience in Healthcare domain
