In this role, you will be responsible for creating strong working relationships with product management and product engineering teams to deliver on the roadmaps and backlogs for one or more products in our OneData (ODP) big data and analytics platform. You will function as a product owner within the agile development framework by maintaining product suite backlog, communicating release plans, communicating requirements to the development teams, and understanding our customer’s requirements.

Job Description
Responsibilities
In this role you will,

• Partner with multi-functional product engineering teams as a product owner to deliver releases and milestones following the agile framework
• Own and manage the product suite backlog; continuously order and prioritizes toensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations of backlog are always ready
• Prioritize continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs
• Demonstrate strategic and expert level skills in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity
• Engage frequently with the product engineering teams;facilitates discussions, provides clarification, story acceptance andrefinement, testing and validation; contributes to design activities anddecisions
• Translate unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work unit
• Become a domain/business expert for the product suite and deep knowledge and understanding of how the products are used to solve use cases
• Work closely with customers to ensure they are successful in using the platform for their specific use cases to build loyalty and repeat usage
• Provides recommendations to improve the usability, performance and overall experience of the platform based on customer feedback

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or equivalent experience
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in the Software Development Lifecycle, Project Management, or IT/Digital operations

Desired Characteristics:

• Strong knowledge of Software Development principles
• Demonstrated knowledge on technical topics in the Data and Analytics space, including AI/machine learning, visualization and data management.
