Summary

Leads the Construction, Erection & commissioning activities of various Projects in India in line with the Operational Guidelines for Steam Power. Drives the Site execution for multiple Steam Power Projects having construction activity to ensure it is professionally & timely executed within a specified Budget.

Strong Construction, Erection & Commissioning execution skills with an experience of around 15(min) to 20(max) years having led multiple Projects in an EPC organization. At least 5-7 projects. (appx. Rs 50 Cr of mech erection each from respective projects)

Essential Responsibilities

• Leads the Site execution Strategy during the construction execution phase
• Deep understanding Safety & Quality requirements in EPC projects.
• Ensures efficient partnership for Mechanical & Erection related issues for various projects in India.
• Has a sound understanding of commissioning. Active participation in defining / review processes, procedures and tools
• Site KPI review aligned with revenue/ Cash & ensuring the targets are met as per AOP
• Identifies & delegates the resources needed as per the business plan
• Liaison with Project Directors & other stakeholders to strive for synergies.
• Suggest measures for pull back on milestones which are going beyond schedule
• Escalation level engagement with subagencies for resolution of issues in a time bound manner.
• Anticipates the Risks & guides the team in risk mitigation.
• Monitor performance for Site Incharge
• Enables solution generation to Complex Construction issues, Implementing new better technique to reduce project cost and time line ( Kaizen).
• Exposure to latest erection techniques / usage of Optimum resources / atomization to expedite the site activities with Safety & Quality.
• Experience of FGDs, Power Plant will be added advantage.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Mandatory (MUST)
Mechanical / Electrical University degree (comparable with bachelor / master) or equivalent experience
Appropriate experience in power plant construction and engineering
Appropriate experience in management functions
Good verbal/written communication abilities across stakeholders
