Job Description

Roles and responsibilities:

• Lead the development of several product lines within the Distributed Energy Resource Management System (DERMS) Platform.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship for 1-2 cross-functional scrum teams.

• Lead team to deliver product features on-time with high quality.

• Collaborate with product to create release plans based on business value and technical feasibility.

• Throughout product release cycle, proactively identify and solve for risks and remove barriers.

• Establish Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices from requirements gathering to software design and implementation to deployment and support.

• Establish Agile best practices. Innovate and introduce new processes or technologies to improve team velocity.

• Set team member performance goals and career plan. Perform 1-1s and performance reviews.

• Motivate and energize team towards common business goals and vision. Promote a collaborative, accountable and trusting environment.

• Effectively collaborate and influence across various GE departments including Product, Services, and Sales.

Required Qualifications

• This role requires significant experience in the Digital Technology & Software Engineering. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master’s degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).

• Knowledge in Typescript and Angular

• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems

• Experience in leading software teams

• Bonus – Knowledge of power systems or background in electrical engineering
