Gems Precision Castings Pvt. Ltd. is a Castings Manufacturing Foundry which started its production from the year 2006, located on Chennai – Bangalore Highway and is about 50 Kms away from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

It produces SG iron for a variety of automobile applications. The foundry is built on a 1.4 acres land with 20,000 sq. feet built up area.

Our Vision is to achieve a target of 200 tonnes of good castings every month before the end of the year 2021, with our dedicated team of 125 employees, we are confident that we can fulfill our vision. Our Objective is to achieve this mission.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

ROLE: Purchase Engineer

Industry : Manufacturing / Automotive / Foundry
Location : Sriperumpudur.
Requirement : BE/Diploma
Experience : 2 – 3 Years
Salary : Negotiable
Foundry experience preferred but not required

JOB SCOPE:

· Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers, such as inspectors, precision workers, machine setters and operators, assemblers, fabricators, and plant and system operators. Excludes team or work leaders.

· Ensuring shell moulding process as per desired process parameter to control defects in casting, validating process parameter for new product, Monitoring pattern Maintenance activity, Supporting cost awareness.
