Job Description Summary
As a Advance Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for CDN-HPT module hot structure for GE90 and GP product line from Design engineering. You will build and utilize multiple skillsets including analysis, design, product definition, and manufacturing for structural components. You will be doing activities linked to technical improvement of existing components and products, resolution of issues corresponding to the field finding, component manufacturing and delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities
Ensure the hardware delivery of parts owned by addressing deviations from filed findings.
Responsible to support shops for Departure record resolution and shop visit cost reduction
Recommend design solutions to meet the technical and program requirements. Own technical presentations at technical reviews.
Should execute & technically mentor the young engineers in team on design & stress analysis to meet the program objectives.
Should network & establish strong connections with Commodity CTHs, Cross functions teams viz. Shop, SC, Repair, MAE, CTPs and Shop technical teams to achieve the desired outcomes for module
Should participate RCA investigations for the field events / distress and prepare action / field plan in collaboration with module teams and led the Systems Tech Reviews and PCB reviews to get it approved
Leverage digital tools & analyze the data insights to drive appropriate actions viz. on ESM limit extensions, special procedures, etc.
Adopt Lean in day-to-day work for process improvements
Required Qualifications
Bachelors/ Master’s Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 8 years of work experience on Mechanical Design of Gas Turbine components.
Demonstrated ability to deliver results while working on multiple projects simultaneously, balancing timing and quality of outcomes.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization both internally and externally
Desired Characteristics
Experience with GE Aviation engineering design methodology & hardware knowledge of hot frames/structures/Casings
Understanding of manufacturing & inspection processes, repair methods
Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships and networks both within GE & with Suppliers
Demonstrated leadership in problem solving with ownership & self-motivated
