Job Summary

The MyHRConnection Call/I-9 Compliance Agent position serves as a point of contact for Giant Eagle Team Members, applicants/candidates, and external contacts who have HR-related inquiries. This position also handles the new hire I-9 auditing and compliance process.

Job Description

• Experience Required: 1 to 3 years
• Experience Desired: Call center and/or customer service, I-9 compliance
• Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent plus 18 months+ of additional training
• Travel Required: None

Job Responsibilities

• Respond to Team Member inquiries via phone, self-service web site, e-mail, fax, or US mail, within specified Service Level requirements.
• Create, manage, escalate, and resolve cases within case management tool to aide in effective resolution and tracking of Team Member issues and questions.
• Audit and electronically file new hire I-9s and supporting documents.
• Escalate unique situations requiring special handling to MyHRConnection Specialists and/or subject matter experts located within the Back Office for resolution.
• Communicate with the appropriate people to obtain missing I-9s and/or supporting documents for new hires, follow up as required.
• Monitor retention of terminated Team Member I-9s per retention policy.
• Run queries for file maintenance and reporting.
• Participate in continual improvement projects as dictated by management.
• Assist with other processes as requested and defined by Department Manager.
