Job Summary

Our Data Integrity Specialists are key players in documenting, troubleshooting and resolving vendor, item and cost data issues. They assist with customer service by helping users with resolution on day-to-day questions. They also provide instruction and training to business users and procurement assistants.

Job Description

• Experience Required: 1 to 3 years with customer service, IT help, System Administrator experience
• Experience Desired: Retail experience, previous experience with data entry in various purchasing merchandising systems
• Education Desired: Associates Degree
• Travel Required: None

Job Responsibilities

• Partner with and support the Data Integrity Manager in process development, new system implementation, enhancements, documentation, tracking and coaching. Work with the Data Integrity Manager to improve the work design and move to maximize the use of technology in managing the company data.
• Provide guidance and coaching to procurement assistants, organizational team members and vendors who perform the same tasks and utilize the various applications. Function as the subject matter expert of the merchandising systems and technology. Work with businesses across the organization to gain vendor item flow setup and assist in establishing organizational process standards.
• Assist in identifying and documenting process steps to ensure vendor, item and cost flow accurately through the various merchandising systems. Create and maintain new documentation along with updating
  existing information as processes and technology changes.
• Work with IS to determine and execute the appropriate method for performing technology system or application data updates, exports, imports and cleanup across various systems.
• Maintain data integrity of the various computer systems for vendor, item and cost data across business areas. Perform audits of system data workflow processes and tests upgrades. Correct, delete, and/or
  combine information as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve item and vendor conflicts as data is processed through various merchandising and retail systems.
• Research and resolve data integrity issues reported by stores, warehouses, merchandising departments and vendors. Utilize reporting to identify issues and track progress of resolution.
• Validate new vendor and item data for accuracy prior to manual data entry. Ensure the proper requests and requirements are in place to create a new vendor.
• Manually set up and process new vendor data in various merchandising systems. Maintain updates and vendor status as information is changed and received.
• Maintain updates of item attributes, dimensions and various system groupings. Determine the item groupings to promote better item management with the various systems.
• This role will also focus on pricing, promotional, ad and invoice process of the merchandising support area for process improvement, system automation and system requirements in relation to documentation of work tasks, flow and system
• Special projects as assigned.
