What you will Do

Creates , Secure and maintains all databases required for development, testing and
production usage.
Performs the capacity planning required to create and maintain the databases and
performs ongoing tuning of the database instances.
Manage cloud engineering activities for the databases and would also drive automation
activities
Responsible for all functions associated with the implementation and maintenance of the
databases including security, back-up, logging, reporting and recovery procedures.
Manage data from multiple sources including internal, external, and 3rd party data and
assist in maintaining and improving database operational efficiency
Implements standard security policies and procedures to ensure the standard application
security is in place
Lead risks and resolving issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality

on whether a candidate has previously done similar work or not. We’re looking for someone
dynamic with below qualities in generous quantities to perform well in this role –
Requirements
Tech/B.E in Computer Science, IT, or similar field; a Master’s is a plus
4+ Experience working with Databases (SQL and NOSQL).
Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL)
Experience in a cloud environment, preferably AWS and databases services on it like RDS , DynamoDB etc.
Experience working with both structured and unstructured data.
Experience with a programming language preferably Java/Go
Good to have working knowledge of Postgres/MongoDB/Apache Cassandra.
Most importantly – a reliable team player and a strong desire to learn
