Primary Job Tasks & Responsibilities:
Around 6-12 years of overall experience on Active directory in Windows Server 2008 R2/2012 R2/2016
Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012 & 2016.
Implementation and configuration of core services, such as Networking, Storage, Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), Group Policy, File and Print Services, and Hyper-V.
Administration tasks necessary to maintain a Windows Server 2012/2016 infrastructure such as configuring and troubleshooting name resolution, user and group management with Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) and Group Policy, implementing Remote Access solutions such as Direct Access, VPNs and Web Application Proxy, implementing Network Policies and Network Access Protection, Data Security, deployment and maintenance of server images, as well as update management and monitoring of Windows Server 2012/2016 environments.
Deployment of Windows Server 2012/2016 services and infrastructure and provide the skills necessary to Manage and Maintain a domain based Windows Server 2012 environment, providing skills in areas such as User and Group management, Network Access and Data Security.
Deploy, manage and maintain a Windows Server 2012/2016 infrastructure, such as advanced networking services, Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), Active Directory Rights Management Services (AD RMS), Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS), Network Load Balancing, Failover Clustering, business continuity and disaster recovery services as well as access and information provisioning and protection technologies such as Dynamic Access Control (DAC), and Web Application Proxy integration with AD FS and Workplace Join.
Strong experience on AD design and Deployment (minimum 4 years)
Strong Experience on AD upgrade to Windows Server 2008 R2/2012 R2/2016.
Domain function Level Migration.
Strong Experience on AD migration tools (ADMS, ADMT & Quest Migration Manager, Binary tree)
Very good understanding of AD forest/domain structure and topology
In-depth understanding of AD sites and replication topology
In-depth knowledge on DNS and DNS query, Zone Transfer.
Monitor and report on Active Directory Health, Problem analysis & resolution
Planning and in-depth understanding of OU structure
Very good understanding on GPO configuration and Management
Hands on experience on AD customization
Hands on experience on using various AD tools
Participate in anticipating, mitigating, identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and software issues on servers in a timely and accurate fashion
Basic troubleshooting on networking and other Microsoft products like Exchange, O365, etc.
Process development, maintenance and documentation.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to share knowledge with team members

Systems Administrators duties also include:
Active Directory user management, SAN management, VM resource management, networking, security, OS management, and customer applications. Additionally, Systems Administrator administers and maintains hardware, system software, security and backups.
