Preferred qualifications:

• Experience as a thought leader with the ability to influence outcomes with c-level customers and executive public sector officials, ensuring operating conditions for the long-term. Ability to build teams cross-functionally internally across product areas and supporting functions.
• Experience managing ambiguity, solving complex problems and scaling solutions across organization and distributed teams.
• Experience attracting executive talent and as a key influencer of peers in similar roles. Experience providing the customer perspective with Product teams.

As Vice President, you will lead delivery of the India ads business and will lead the strategy and development of our cross-functional country plans, managing brand, government, and C-Suite engagement while bringing teams together in service of our people development goals and culture. You will lead through a high degree of ambiguity and business complexity, using operating skills to drive business growth and driving a strategy that secures Google’s future success in the country.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build strong businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We’re uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google’s broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

• Act as a leader of growth strategies and effectively lead the Large Customer Sales (LCS) organization to deliver material business contributions and transformative customer business outcomes.
• Serve as a primary influencer with C-suite leaders of customers and partners, be an internationally recognized thought leader on Google’s behalf in the advertising industry, and liaise with regulators on key issues (e.g., privacy, policy, etc.).
• Represent Google in the market and represent the country to the organization. Partner with cross-functional teams to engage through the country and preserve and extend Google’s operations.
• Bring teams together across the country in service of our people development goals and culture.
