Experience : 7 to 10 years’ relevant experience as an Automobile Technical Trainer
Duration: Full-time
Qualification: Graduate in any stream with additional qualification / specialization in Sales & distribution in Automotive industry.
Candidates with Instructional design background would be an added advantage.
Control and maintain learning ambience within the training session.
Provide constructive feedback on participant performance.
Conduct assessment and share results with participants/concerned.
Assign learning tasks after a training/before training.
Conduct certification.
Skills:
Should be fluent in English & Hindi or regional language.
Should have adequate market knowledge, clear understanding of automobile technologies, awareness of digital technology used in premium & super premium cars.
Excellent platform, participant orientation, group facilitation, presentation, and technical skills.
Well versed with Basic Automotive Theories & Functions of Components & Mechatronics
Able to read, understand & interpret the written Technical Information clearly
Able to communicate & deliver Training in English, Hindi & other regional languages
Should possess methodical & pedagogical competence
Should have Coaching, mentoring & problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a very dynamic changing and diversified environments.
Openness to travel frequently within India.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
Manage Training Delivery as per the Training Calendar, carryout Assessment & Follow up
Conducting Technical Trainings to Dealer Staff includes Classroom, Virtually & On-Job Training.
Deliver training modules complying & safeguarding the Client standards in relation to Training
Methods, Quality, CI/CD, Brand values and the Brand essence.
Self-Development & acquiring trainer certifications and recertification.
Liaising with Local OE Supplier for learning proprietary product Know-how.
Coordinate with local QA, R&D, TSC & factory teams for Product, Technology & Assembly information.
Coordinate for Updating / Creating the training Worksheets & questioner for Trainings.
Attending TTT and disseminate the knowledge to Trainers via local TTT and training to other internal relevant department employees.
Keeping abreast on current technical topics in the market and the actual developments.
Knowledge sharing with other internal Departments on Technology.
Coordination on training content updates and feedback on existing contents of training modules,
Questioner, Tools & Equipment’s & new developments & requirements with content team.
Identifying Current Need of participants based on feedback and suggesting amendments to content team.
Maintenance, upkeep & inventory of Tools & equipment allotted.
Identifying & Preparing Training Aids for improving the Training quality & saving time.
Prepare and release Training & Evaluation / OJT reports.
Mentoring New Trainers and support in their development & certification.
Adapting & customizing of training material to specific market requirements
Evaluation of training & personnel development measures based on the efficiency and effectiveness
criteria (learning & transfer success, trainer & participant feedback, continuous improvement process)
Upkeep of Training cars used in the training and resolving any faults arising in due course of training.
Preparing training materials and conducting seminars, coaching sessions, and workshops in the preferred language.
Supporting for seminars: Participant management, creating training documents, feedback evaluations.
Arranging and assessing for dealer staff certification.
Preparing & organizing Regional and National Rounds of Technical Skill championships for dealers Staff.
Preparation for the brand certification and evaluation criteria.
Ensuring training room and practice area preparation prior to training commencement.
Ensuring availability of tools, consumables, aids etc. & its upkeep prior to training commencement
Proposing improvements in VC, eLearning & Develop new learning aids into the training system
Bring in significant innovation in the pedagogy for better participation of trainees.
Refresh pre-test and post test questions on interim basis.
Timely release of training reports and update results.
