Job Location – Pondicherry.

Position Overview: Oversee mixing and manufacturing operations of the factory within quality parameters, food safety norms and company guidelines with the objective of minimizing wastage, maximizing productivity and ensuring production plans are met.

Responsibilities:–

Ensure appropriate takeover from previous shift officer.

Ensures Manpower deployment as per standard position manning. Coordinates with time officer, mixing and packing officers.

Ensures RM, PM availability by coordinating with PM and RM stores officers.

Ensures all materials are stored as per store room condition norms. Visits the AC room, Cold store, Exhaust room and ensures shelf life of all ingredients.

Ensures FIFO for all materials and Achieve the PVA.

Ensures process and product are as per standard specification.

Responsible for shift productivity and breakdown. Coordinates with Maintenance/concerned department.

Ensures cleaning and hygiene. Coordinates with respective team officers.

Responsible for shift FS, EGA, defective and downtime. Does complete RCA for shift breakdown with the team.

Ensures shift scrap movement.

Responsible for Kaizen generation, reporting of unsafe act/condition, abnormality reporting and mitigation of unsafe condition, area audit points, self-inspection points.

Ensures appropriate handover to next shift officer.

Closing meeting with operators and officers. Plans week off and raises the morale of the team.

MCV – Ensures all major Ingredient Variance are within limit.

Production summary. Brings out the abnormalities and unsafe behaviors for the shift with action plan.

Requirements

Education & Experience:
BE/B.Tech Food Tech – 5-6 yrs of experience in FMCG/Food manufacturing (or)

DME in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical/ engg – 7-8 yrs. experience from FMCG and GET.

Hands on experience in food automation process.

Flexible to work in shifts.
