Hasura Hiring for Staff Accountant (Remote US) at Bangalore Full Time

We are looking for a talented Entry Level Staff Accountant to support Hasura’s accounting and finance function. You will be responsible for daily transactional activities leading to the monthly close process and be a contributor to the delivery of accurate and timely financial statements. The ideal candidate is comfortable being hands-on, a fast learner, and thrives in the dynamic world of early-stage technology companies. This role will work closely with the Senior Accountant and will report to the Finance Controller.

### What the role will involve:

• Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes
• Support various areas of accounting function, including but not limited to bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and cash receipts application to ensure accuracy of accounts receivable
• Maintain compliance with statutory tax and reporting requirements in all states in which the Company has filing obligations
• Prepare journal entries, review general ledger accounts and prepare account reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP
• Help enforce compliance with the travel and expense policy
• Contribute to annual financial statement audit requests from external auditors
• Assist in drafting financial statements and related reports
• Help with other accounting duties and ad-hoc requests

### Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting/Finance
• Entry level position with up to three years of experience in an accounting related function
• Passionate about working for a technology startup with a desire to learn and develop their career
• Team player who takes direction well, learns from his or her mistakes, and can complete tasks with guidance from management and others
• Working knowledge of Excel
• Time management skills and ability to multi-task various project assignments
• Strong communication skills

### Location:

We hire across all states in the US with a preference for East Coast. You can work remotely from anywhere in the US or in our office in San Francisco.
