Job Description

• Litigation Management Product wise Portfolio Analysis month on month for state/ area assigned to him.

• Ensuring timely filing of legal cases as per policy.

• Selection of best recourse for the product considering judicial trend in the state.

• Data Management Responsible for updating Legal trails, legal data in the legal module.

• Review exception reports published by the central team & its compliance.

• Monitor targets v/s achievement Ensuring that, Bills of legal vendors are raised as per the TAT Risk Management Effectively and timely managing high value & critical cases filed against bank & staff in Judiciary, quasi judiciary and Law enforcement agencies.

• Coordinating with internal staff in getting the necessary information to be furnished in the Court and defending the matter suitable in the courts and ensuring mattes are addressed appropriately and also keeping the function updated on latest developments for course corrections and suitable advising in reducing the Risk exposure.

• Co-ordinate with lawyers for drafting the suitable reply & written arguments & ensure to submit the same.

• To advice & ensuring team for filing Appeal/Revision within limitation, in the cases where orders have been passed against Bank.

• Vendor Management Monitoring & reviewing with legal vendors on monthly basis on cases handled & their performance along with Legal Manager for smooth functioning.

• Updating on the developments, ensuring bills for the services rendered in previous month to be raised in the immediate month before 10th in the format with supporting docs & information.

• Ensuring to collect the confirmation letter from each vendor for non-pendency of bills for services rendered in previous month.

• Monitoring allocated cases are properly represented and leading the matters appropriately.
