FUNCTIONAL SAFETY HARDWARE EXPERT Location Pune – Maharashtra, India

YOUR TASKS

Tasks / Work Packages

1) Perform Hardware Safety analysis
HW-FMEA

HW-FTA

HW-FMEDA

2) For other Safety development

Reviews respectively Inspections of Work Products such as Requirements and Architecture
Participation and Support as part of Moderation Team for FMEA/FTA/FMEDA (HW)

3) General Safety Management such as planning of own task, maintaining of Safety Plan with respect to own tasks etc.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements
Ability for holistic evaluation of Hardware safety with respect to Functional Safety as per ISO26262
Ability to analyze and evaluate concrete safety conceptions, safety analyses and safety requirements of the hardware
Active support as part of Moderation Team for Hardware Safety Analyses
Ability to support technical Specification from point of view of Functional Safety
Ability to gather evidence of fulfillment of requirement deliveries as per ISO26262 from affected domains
Ability to summarize the evaluation results in a well-understandable documented manner
Experience with typical safety assurance concepts such as 3 level concepts, 1oo2D, 2oo2D etc.
Knowledge of required Development Methods as per ASIL D
Reviews of relevant Work Products of other Domains

Qualification
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or related field
Experience in Automotive Industry (3+years Software Engineering experience)
Knowledge and Experience in Functional Safety Engineering
Knowledge and Experience of established Norms and Standards especially ISO26262
Experience with Analyses Methods such as FMEA, FFI in relationship to Software Engineering preferred
Knowledge of IBM DOORS, PTC, SysML Tool such as IBM Rhapsody
Knowledge and understanding of ASPICE, ISO26262 standards and methods
Analytical Thinking and Systematic Way of Working, Team player with very good communication skills
