Full Job Description
The Position is opened for a leading Automotive company based at Gurgaon.
Position Level: Manager
Function / Department : Legal IPO
To create IP awareness in various businesses functions and to protect/ safeguard company’s IP
To educate, motivate on creation and protection of intellectual property to various business functions
To conduct ideation workshops and coordinate for new idea generation/ submission
To perform relevant patent study with respect to patent-ability, Freedom to operate, Invalidation, State of art search and infringement on different technologies
To work closely with Marketing team and conducting trademark searches, giving opinion on trademark usage/ infringement, filing and prosecution of trademark applications
To advise business functions on copyright protection; handling copyright filings and prosecution
Requirements
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS :
Essential: LLB Degree in Law
Desirable/ pref.: Engineering degree in Mechanical/Automobiles (Preference: IIT Kharagpur, Integrated BTech + LLB)
WORK EXPERIENCE :
6-7 years of experience, preferably with a law firm.
Legal with Trademark, copyright and patent experience
