EHS System & ETP Operations Coordination:

• Thorough Knowledge of ETP, MVR , MEE & R.O operations and trouble shootings & Good Knowledge of ETP lab samplings.
• Assist in the development, maintenance, and implementation of HSE initiatives and programs consistent with legislative requirements and best practice.
• Assist in ETP experiments & trails revamp and expansions based on site expansion plants
• Assist in the development of solutions and implementation of strategies to address identified key risk areas.
• Good knowledge and understanding GPCB Portals and Monthly data’s, Half yearly and Annual compliances.
• Good Knowledge of SAP and inventory management.
• Support and actively participate in various projects as a member of the Bharuch Environmental Association, Gujarat Safety council and CII Vadodara Chapter.
• Share monthly EHS reports, presentations on Environment related topics.
• Actively participate in formal and informal communication to increase and enhance the understanding and awareness of Environmental issues.
• Advise management of any system and legislative changes to ensure tasks are undertaken safely and comply with internal and external requirements.
• Continually review work practices and recommend ways in which processes and systems can be improved.
• As an when required can visit and mange Govt. officials.
• Raising red flags on abnormal situations and immediately solve problem with support from management team for corrective actions.

Reporting, Assessment & Audit:

• Coordinating with government agencies like pollution control board for Compliance and audits.
• Develop and deploy a group level reporting mechanisms to monitor HSE programs.
• Evaluate trend reports and effectiveness of corrective and preventive systems in place in all the units.
• Ensure compliance to all Central, State and Local statutory norms and legislations.
• Ensure effective implementation of ISO 14001.
• Create functional strategies and specific objectives and develops and budgets / policies / procedures to support the functional infrastructure.
• Develop and review system documentation as prescribed through schedules or plans, or as required.

Sustainability:

• Lead the environmental and sustainability initiatives and be compliant in all sustainability reporting requirements.
• Work closely with high-level team to grow the company, strengthen it and ensure sustainability.
• Lead, the environment and sustainability work environment in achieving zero tolerance.

What We Are Looking For

• B Tech/BE in Chemical Engineering/Environment Engineering and PDIS/PDES or equivalent degree with 8+ years’ EHS experience in similar industries.
• Knowledge of Environment Management System, Environmental Discharges, Incident Command System, EHS Auditing Techniques, and ISO 1400, Knowledge of manufacturing process for hazard identification & risk assessment, knowledge of GPCB/CPCB norms, legal requirements.
