Oversee operation of facilities to meet all applicable regulatory requirements and in accordance with design criteria.

Develop and implement techniques and methods of process control which increase plant efficiency.

Perform all aspects of sampling, monitoring and testing required to maintain compliance with GPCB

Guide the production personnel for smooth operation of Effluent Treatment, RO, and help them for troubleshooting.

Ensuring effluent treatment & environment-friendly disposal of waste.

Regularly monitoring stack discharge and drive initiatives to reduce emissions for compliance.

Maintaining the discharge of treated effluent and savage within prescribed norms and trouble-free running of all equipment

Monitor consumption ratios on daily basis and initiate corrective steps to minimize the cost of input Identify and implement schemes for improving unit process for cost reduction.

Explore unconventional ways to waste water treatment and reuse of the same in production process.

Conduct water and waste audit regularly and submit the observation to the management.

Aware the employees of the unit 1,2 & 3 regarding the wastewater treatment and effective effluent treatment.

Identify the alternate water sources and encourage employees of the plant to do the same.

Ensure subordinates are trained for required skills to ensure smooth operation of the labs.

Guide the team on maintenance and proper upkeep of ETP plant and data related with the water uses and treatment.

Others

Ensure effective implementation of ISO 14001 and OHSAS certification, HIRA (Hazard Identification Risk Assessment), Mock Drills and Processes, Emergency control system development, Project Safety system, MEE (multiple effect evaporate) plant across the units.

Create functional strategies and specific objectives and develops and budgets / policies / procedures to support the functional infrastructure.

Develop and review system documentation as prescribed through schedules or plans, or as required.

Compile HSE reports to convey information on the HSE performance of the business.

Develop and deploy a group level reporting mechanisms to monitor HSE programs.

Coordinate with government agencies like pollution control board, inspectorate of factories for periodical surveys and audits related to safety.

Monitor the investigation of accidents & injuries and ensure that corrective actions are taken and results of safety inspections are documented.

Evaluate trend reports and effectiveness of corrective and preventive systems in place in all the units.

Ensure compliance to all Central, State and Local statutory norms and legislations.

Qualification: B. E. (Env) or B. E. (Chemical) having 12-15 years of experience in chemical manufacturing ETP Operation.
