In CTG we have started to develop a portfolio to address this potential in 2020, launching a Private 4G offering and establishing Go To Market partnerships with major players in this segment. Following that in 2021 we enhanced the offering with Private 5G and are seeing very promising results already now. Based upon the above the Private Networking market has been identified by the HPE leadership as one of the key growth areas for our corporation! In order to accelerate the development of our portfolio, further strengthening the offering through our GTM partners and most effectively leveraging existing portfolio elements we are investing in numerous functions to drive our success. One of the key roles we decided to expand upon is the Product & Solution Architect in the product management organization (see details regarding the job description below). Take your chance to boost your career and become part of the key growth program inside CTG and HPE! Scope: Own and drive the architectural evolution of the P-5G offering. Responsibilities:

• Tightly cooperate with the outbound PSM and inbound PSM.
• Analyze customer & partner requirements with regards to technical feasibility and efficient implementation options.
• Understand the MC5G portfolio, evolve a harmonized architecture re-using & leveraging what is developed by 5G core team (for the public market) for front-end NFs (UDM, AUSF) as well as the BE (SDE – Shared Data Environment subscriber data backend db, namely UDSF, UIR) and the P-5G R&D team, avoiding to duplicate development efforts.
• In this role it is key to understand how the product needs to evolve to enable our partners to successfully sell and deliver Private 5G to the market.
• As the GTM is via partners and large scale number of deployments the automation aspect in deployment and operation is the key criteria to succeed, alongside with a rock-solid SW architecture that allows to operate the solution with no interruption.
• In order to achieve that it is key to understand the market demands, the technology available as well as the latest techniques in SW development and to establish a tight collaboration with R&D teams as well as the Product Management teams across MC5G.

Required Skills:

• Expertise of R&D in Telco SW development, preferably in the area of Subscriber Data Management
• Excellent understanding of 5G core network technology
• Java
• SAFe/Agile
• CI/CD
• English fluent

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Typically 10+ years experience.
