Assist with day-to-day operations of the Accounts department, including filing, report generation, budget review, etc.
Process weekly payroll accurately and timely.
Maintain accounting documents and records, ensuring all files are up to date.
Prepare bank deposits.
Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct.
Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.
Recording and filing cash transactions.
Controlling credit and chasing debt.
Invoice processing and filing.
Processing expense requests for the accountant to approve.
Bank reconciliation.
Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers.
Updating and maintaining procedural documentation.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum qualification of a Bachelors Degree in Accounts, Commerce or related discipline. However, a Masters Degree would be preferred
2+ years of relevant experience in project management, engineering, site management.
Attention to detail and good record-keeping skills a must.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize projects to meet tight deadlines.
Experience using Excel and other accounting software.
Demonstrated understanding of basic principles of space planning.
Able to develop and present design concepts.
Know-how on compliance, negotiation communication methods, claim management, risk management, business planning and health & safety regulations.
Ability to complete tasks while maintaining all confidentiality requirements
