Senior Technical Business Analyst (Data and Analytics)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst with a strong background in data and analytics technologies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS, Snowflake, Tableau, and Python, and will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions for a pioneer in the industrial/logistics real estate sector. A strong understanding of ETL, data warehousing, data modeling, and data science concepts is mandatory. This is an offshore role, and the candidate will be working with the customer/business team in MST time. The offshore resource should work from 4 PM to 1 AM to ensure overlap with customer/business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.

• Analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

• Design and develop data analytics solutions.

• Create detailed functional and technical specifications based on business requirements.

• Work closely with development teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions.

• Conduct data analysis to support business decision-making.

• Coordinate the development and maintenance of data models, reports, and dashboards using Tableau and other tools.

• Ensure data quality and integrity across various data sources and systems.

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.

• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

• Provide regular updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables.

• Lead and manage data and analytics projects from initiation to completion.

• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure adherence to project schedules.

• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.

• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data and analytics.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend innovative solutions.

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.

Skills:

• 10+ Years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst in the data and analytics domain.

• Strong expertise in Snowflake, Tableau, Python and AWS.

• A strong understanding of ETL, data warehousing, data modelling, and data science concepts is mandatory.

• Proficiency in SQL and other database query languages.

• Knowledge on IICS, Qlik and Dataiku are preferred.

• Familiarity with other analytics tools and platforms is an advantage.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong project management and organizational abilities.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Experience in commercial real estate and finance domain will be a plus.
