Software Developer Senior I
Location: Hyderabad

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Developer to lead the development, and maintenance of our Web applications. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating stable applications and the ability to mentor and guide junior developers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Maintain the Web Applications. Lead the development, testing, and deployment of the Web applications.
• Code Quality and Best Practices: Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
• Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers, offering code reviews, architectural advice, and knowledge-sharing.
• Collaboration: Work closely with different teams, product managers to translate business requirements into functional applications.
• Performance Optimization: Making sure that the web applications are stable and performant and addressing the performance bottlenecks and bugs.
• Integration: Integrate with external systems, third-party APIs, and cloud services as needed to deliver comprehensive features.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in existing applications and processes, suggesting and implementing enhancements.
• Agile Development: Actively participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, providing accurate time estimates for tasks.
• Stay Updated: Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies, and apply new knowledge to enhance the development process.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 6-8 years of professional experience in Web application development.
• Frameworks: Proficiency with Java programming language and frameworks like Spring and Hibernate
• Technical Expertise: Java, Maven, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, any Database system (preferably Oracle).
• Experience with Swagger / Postman.
• Problem-Solving: Proven track record of troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving complex technical issues in web applications.
• Version Control: Experience with Git and collaborative version control workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• API Integration: Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, networking, and integration with other systems.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience working in an Agile / Scrum development environment.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive change within a team.
• Familiarity with messaging systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Preferably Jenkins)
• Knowledge of various coding standards and security best practices.
• Experience in any cloud technology (Preferably Azure).
• Experience with different Monitoring Tools (Eg: AppDynamics, Splunk, etc).
