Location: Hyderabad
What you’ll be doing:
Has an experience in Storage Administration/migration of more than 8yrs
Excellent understanding of Storage architectureNAS – Expertise on 2 or more Storage products Dell EMC Unity (NAS -Block), VNX (NAS -Block)) NetApp (Cdot, 7mode) and Hitachi HNASSAN – Expertise on 2 or more Storage products Dell EMC VMAX/Powermax, SRDF. CISCO Fabric, Hitachi G series and VSP, IBM arrays XIV or A9000Troubleshoot and analyze performance issuesExcellent working knowledge of multi-path softwareOperating system command exposure (Unix and Wintel for limited administration purposes)SAN storage performance tuningGood working knowledge of SAN storage best practiceStorage System administration functionality and exploitationFirmware application, both upgrading and downgradingPerson Profile:Effective communication skills in both verbal and written EnglishClient focused with regards to service deliverySelf-driven and able to work independently or within a teamGood analytical and troubleshooting skills (the ability to think logically through a problem)Must have the initiative, tenacity and commitment to see problems through to resolutionAble to respond to and resolve client queries and requests in a timely mannerWorks well in a teamAn ability to work well under pressureA flexible approachAbility to work shift patterns and provide out of hour’s on-call support (24*7 readiness required)Ability to provide clear and concise documentationGood 3rd Party Liaison, i.e. Suppliers of storage products and hardware for problem resolution
