Position Overview

The Department of Computer Science is seeking to appoint a passionate, driven and innovative person to lead the whole-school Computer Science curriculum that includes Data Science, Artificial Intelligence & advance computing. The candidate should be passionate about computer science and digital learning, who will inspire and energies students to develop their own love of technology beyond the classroom.

Responsibilities

Teaches courses in the discipline area of computer and information sciences. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement.
Planning lessons and activities that facilitate students acquisition of basic and advanced computer skills.
Instructing in a manner that develops students confidence in their abilities.
Observing and managing classroom dynamics.
Invigilating and grading projects, quizzes, and examinations.
Tracking and communicating students advancement throughout the course.
Qualifications & Experience

Post Graduate in relevant industry. Phd Preferred. / Qualification Experience as per AICTE norms. / B.Tech (CSE), MTech (CSE) and Ph.D. in CSE with good academic and research record from a recognized university/institute. /As per AICTE norms with significant contributions by way of research published in renowned international journals and proven capacity to procure grants.
More than 5+ yrs of experience in I.T. department in university and university affiliated Institute.
Must have experience and zeal of heading department.
Strong teaching mentoring skills.
Excellent Presentation, and written and verbal communication skills.
Passionate about fostering computer literacy and academic excellence.
