: Sustainability Engineer II Location: Madurai The Sustainability Engineer II shall support to identify and calculate the environmental impact of products and processes through Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) studies resulting in opening up avenues for reducing the environmental impact. This person is a key team member to drive Scope 3 Emission calculation and is responsible for collaborating with the organization to identify actions required to reduce significant impacts in supply chain across Honeywell Products. As such, the Sustainability Engineer II must possess technical skill and demonstrate the business acumen. Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform environmental lifecycle assessment (LCA) studies for Products
• Manage the outreach programs for LCA / Sustainability / Environmental process data collection from sites and suppliers.
• Interact with business functions and tools & systems for LCA / Sustainability activities involving products, bills of materials, purchased parts and suppliers
• Responsible for generating LCA reports in line with ISO standards and vaulting, management and control of environmental foot-print data
• Able to provide overview of the LCA status of materials used within the business
• Enable Businesses to address Customer enquiry on LCA & Sustainability related requests
• Champion optimization of processes and automation proposal implementation

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with lifecycle assessment modeling and sustainability tools
• Well versed in Product Life Cycle Stages and the associated Environmental impact
• Masters Degree in Science (e.g. Chemistry, Environmental Science or any Science Discipline) or Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Metallurgy, Electrical/Electronics, Polymer Science, Chemical)
• Basic experience in PLM Databases (SAP / Teamcenter)
• Good understandability on material chemical composition sources such as Safety data sheets (SDS) or Full Materials Disclosures (FMD)
• Make decisions based on detailed analysis, presenting recommendation to team and driving actions to improve results

Additional Skills:

• Ability to work in an ever-changing environment and drive to continuously improve work practices
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills to effectively interact with individuals of all disciplines and levels within and across the organization
• Ability to think strategically and critically analyze details
• Six Sigma Greenbelt certification preferred
• Proactive to find out actions needed for continuous improvement
• Strong written and oral communication skills, particularly in cross-functional collaboration and facilitation
