Position Summary:
Be part of a larger team supporting Personal Systems Operations in their Product Lifecycle Management Operations on NPI and Sustaining Programs for Workstations and Enterprise Platforms. This is a day-to-day operational role with end-to-end accountability of the product platform support during its active marketing lifecycle. You will interface with global and regional engineering, R&D, planning functions, and manufacturing partners.
Responsibilities:
Has responsible for key supply chain process such as Product Data Mgmnt /Master Data Mgmnt (PDM/MDM), Bill of Material Mgmnt (BOM) , Product configuration Management and New Product Introduction (NPI)
Accountable for end-to-end product engineering data management supporting the product life cycle from inception to product end-of-life by creating, maintaining, and managing changes to product engineering information and structure.
Interact, Coordinate and conducts product data spec reviews with global and regional engineering, marketing, R&D, costing, planning, and manufacturing functions to establish a working relationship that will allow for rapid information flow.
Work Independently as PDM data analyst and platform owner and ensure to meet NPI timelines
Works with planning teams from regional and global business units to keep and improve business processes
Accountable to meet and sustain the product platform data readiness metric.
Research and analysis of priority projects within established guidelines.
Compiles key metrics, produces reports, and analyzes data using IT systems for demand and supply matching activities.
Demonstrate value creation for the team and business by way of process improvements and automation.
Reviews performance metrics on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Knowledge and Skills:
Good understanding of supply chain processes (PDM/MDM, NPI, BOM Management, Plan, Source, etc).
Strong written and verbal communication skills; command of the English language
Exposure to SAP Material Master environment – SAP / S4 HANA / PLM applications
Ability to communicate and work effectively in teams, remote teams, and individuals, as well as influence others to achieve results
Strong analytical skills and the ability to drive process improvements.
Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Basic understanding of project management methodology.
Developing business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.
Flexible to support multiple time zones and ability to deal with ambiguity requirements and frequent changes.
Introduction to HP’s overall supply chain strategy.
Education and Experience Required:
First level university degree or equivalent.
Overall, 6+ years of experience in business operations or supply chain functions, with demonstrated success for 4-5 years managing supply chain/product data management/BOM management/BOM structuring/new product introduction teams.
