Automation & RPA developer works in Sales Operations Technology and Innovation team. This team is responsible for HP’s Channel Data collection and Incentives architecture solution design and development integrated in HP’s data strategy and drive continuous improvements/ optimization and automations via new tools development, reports automations, robotics development and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

Works in a project team under the guidance of a reporting project manager; is expected to work well in this set-up to ensure excellent teamwork is maintained

Ensures that customer/ project deadlines are met and if these are not realistic informs the project manager upfront what the realistic deadlines are and agrees these with the project manager & customer

Collaborates with the project manager and project team to ensure the goals agreed are being reached and the appropriate infrastructure is used

Performs as a Web and Mobile development specialist and is able to produce new internal web-based tools to meet customers’ requirements, using appropriate technical solutions in the background

• Demonstrable experience as a Robotic Process Automation Developer using Robotic technologies, particularly with UIPath, and VBA, Excel

• Desired knowledge on development environments ( HTML5, SharePoint, JavaScript, C#, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, VB, Python, etc.) )

• Knowledge on database core concepts (structure, coding, modelling)

• Knowledge on integration with web services Json, XML, SOAP

• Solid background as a Software Developer and versed software development lifecycle: Feasibility study, Diagnostics, Solution Design, Coding, Testing, Deployment of Bots and deliver efficiencies through

automation

• Participate in all phases: define, design, configure, test, deploy and integration of new, modified and/or enhanced automation, iterative development

Participate in development including constructing and maintaining efficient, reusable and reliable RPA code

Participate in testing activities, including integration testing, end-to-end (business process) testing and user acceptance testing

Participate in the problem identification/error resolution process, including tracking, repairing and reporting defects

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert within the Robotic Process Automation Development and technologies, especially around UIPath

• Able to rapidly learn and become proficient in multiple automation tools

Able to rapidly learn and understand business processes

Understanding of workflow-based logic and the ability to both understand a business process from a workflow diagram and to conceptualise it as an automated solution

Effective communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience

Good written skills with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation

An aptitude for problem solving, with the ability to take a logical route to the source of an error

Able to accept responsibility and complete work
