HP Inc. Hiring for Treasury Analyst at Bangalore, India Full Time

The APJ Treasury Analyst plays a key role in the APJ Treasury Center specializing in cash and liquidity management. The position requires in-depth knowledge of treasury operations, with the ability to execute treasury activities such as managing the daily liquidity of international subsidiaries, inter-company (IC) funding programs using cash-pool structures, IC loans/deposits, external cash placement and borrowing, foreign exchange settlements, inter-company cash settlements, and other large value, critical transactions. The Treasury Analyst will also be involved in leading projects pertaining to treasury implementations, operational improvements, and structural transformation. This role involves regional coverage, and some time flexibility would be required to attend some meetings at a time that may be accommodated for various time zones.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cash management to ensure accurate and timely funding allocation without unexpected overdraft, minimize idle cash in in-country, and maximize returns based on approved investment instruments.

• Manage funding activities, including sweeping and pooling.

• Analyze and track forecast vs. actual cash flows.

• Manage short term investments.

• Manage end-to-end Bank Account Opening / Modification / Closing process/ Maintain Treasury Bank Account Signatories/System authorizers within policy requirements.

• Manage regional cash pool forecasts, provide recommendations to management on liquidity levels and investment possibilities.

• Responsible for efficient regional cash and liquidity management and foreign exchange trade bookings.

• Responsible for Treasury operational control and compliance to policy requirements.

• Responsible to ensure full audit, SOX compliance, and record retention requirements.

• Generate regular reports for review relating to APJ Treasury Operations.

• Understands the change in Treasury, Legal, Tax environment and adjusts, develops, and tests new processes.

• Work closely with Region and Corporate Treasury teams to manage treasury support requirements in the region and business continuity for operational contingency worldwide.

• Analyze financial data using BI and analytics solutions to summarize treasury program findings for project teams.

• Provides expertise on Treasury systems design, drives testing and problem solving for the entities managed.

• Provide regional support for Treasury Projects on Systems implementation and management.

Required Education and Professional Experience

• At least a Bachelor’s degree (graduate) in Finance, Accounting, or Business

• Typically 4+ years working experience in Finance, preferably in a Treasury related area

• Good understanding of treasury management systems e.g. SAP S4 Hana, Wall Street System, SunGard

• Able to read/write/converse fluently in Chinese

• A good track record in accounting/finance/banking/ treasury

Required Knowledge/Skills

• Strong work ethics and integrity

• Execution/action oriented

• Basic project management skills

• Self-driven team player with “can do” attitude

• Practical/process experience for problem-solving, diagnosis and analysis

• Ability to deliver on time sensitive and strategic priorities simultaneously

• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Proficient BI and analytics solutions user, particularly Power BI will be an advantage
