BUSINESS UNIT

The HRS Data & Analytics Platform is one of the key enablers of HRS Group’s tech and data driven business travel solutions. State of the art services and solutions like strategic consulting & hotel procurement, travel payment and expense solutions or efficient tools to manage corporate meetings and group booking facilitate the travel processes and guarantee savings along the value chain.

Around 50 Data Specialists (Consultants, Analysts, Scientists and Engineers) work together in our Data Community to create analytics solutions that serve our corporate customers, hotel partners, internal stakeholders, and ultimately millions of business travelers worldwide.

HRS Data Consulting leverages a rich data landscape (procurement data, booking and payment data, rate data, web analytics data, etc.) turning this complex, raw data into actionable insights to provide decision support and value to customers and business stakeholders with advanced analytical solutions.

Your mission is to help reinvent how business work, stay, and pay through data & our analytics solutions and, using your advanced analytics skills, bring forward insights and valuable information to the business and our customers that might otherwise have laid buried in our data lake.

POSITION

As part of our Data Consulting team, we are looking for a Chandigarh office based Data Analyst (all genders).

The Data Analyst (all genders) will play a pivotal role to translate business requirements into technical BI solutions.

The candidate will be responsible for analyzing internal and external data sources to discover how the data can be used to solve business problems and to drive business decisions.

In addition, the role is responsible for liaising with stakeholders, business teams, data teams and providing reporting and analytics to different areas within business units.

CHALLENGE

• Work on analyzing, understanding, challenging and documenting customer, supplier partner and business requirements for data solutions within HRS Group
• Work closely with the business and steering teams from Enterprise Solutions, Hotel Solutions and Payment teams, as well as management ensuring the continued development of the data platform to serve HRS Group’s strategic vision.
• Translate business requirements into analytical designs and ensure implementation and testing of the proposed solutions leveraging state-of-the-art cloud technologies for data analytics and reporting.
• Develop new reporting and analytics solutions helping identify customer needs and uncover potential for innovative procurement approaches in line with HRS Group’s overall platform strategy.
• Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists across HRS Group to establish best-practices, exchange on latest trends, and stay abreast of your area of responsibility
• Work together with the management team to continuously refine and develop HRS Group’s Data Consulting analytics capabilities and strategies

FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH…

• A successfully completed degree in business computer science, mathematics or a comparable qualification is highly desirable.
• Several years of experience in the field of data analytics in coordination with business steering
• Excellent analytical skills to synthesize business implications out of complex data
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to prepare and present complex data for different audiences
• Superior expertise in SQL and Reporting solutions such as Google Data Studio, Tableau, Microstrategy
• Programming skills (R, Python, others) are highly desirable
• Eager to learn and experiment and not afraid to fail
• Able to self-analyse failures and put required solutions in place in order to improve
• Excellent written and verbal English skills

LOCATION, MOBILITY, INCENTIVE
