Fund Admin Implementation Europe is a Client change delivery team within AO&M Product Delivery. Our primary focus is supporting our existing Client’s new fund accounting change and business growth on the Icon platform. This includes the launching of new funds, inspecie transfers, restructures where funds and asset composition may change, mergers, and elements of middle office change. We support the full range of Clients that are serviced on Icon and covering the UK, Ireland, Luxembourg, and MENA jurisdictions. This includes HSBC Asset Mgt, Phoenix, Royal London, M&G, EFG, and SAMA.
From receipt of our Client’s new Change Request our team will lead these changes with our business colleagues in the Service Delivery teams, coordinating and managing the steps towards Operational Readiness and a successful delivery. Throughout the Change Request life cycle we will be fully engaged with our Clients, and often with their other third party providers such as external Fund Managers, Custodians, Brokers, or Trustees.
Where the Client’s ask is larger or more complex than a BAU Change Request, our resource will form part of the Project Team set up to deliver these more strategic changes or programmes of fund accounting change.
This role offers an exciting new challenge to potential candidates who want to work in a fast moving environment and where each Change Request delivered is a success for our Clients and our business.
The Opportunity:
To lead and deliver our Client Change Requests or Project support activities successfully with no requirement for remediation post-delivery. To provide an excellent service to our Clients, working collaboratively with internal Service Delivery teams and other external parties whilst demonstrating great communication skills and the ability to navigate any challenges that may arise. The successful candidate will have a very good understanding of fund accounting processes and services and be able to apply those to change activities. Where we perform set-up or processing activities they will be experienced on Icon, or another fund accounting platform, and have knowledge of double entry transaction processing and static data set-up. They will be experienced at managing their own workload which will include multiple Change Requests each with their own requirements and spread across target dates.

What you will need to succeed in the role:
Qualifications & Capabilities:
Master’s Degree in Finance or other numerate subject or good secondary education coupled with relevant Experience.
Experience of training others and can apply knowledge transfer to new/different activities
