Job Description / Roles and Responsibilities:

• Managing initiatives for migration and modernization in AWS cloud environment.

• Bringing your expertise to manage applications to AWS Cloud demonstrating PaaS Services, EC2 Services and ECS

• Understand the current application infrastructure and suggest changes to it.

• Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.

• Migrate our infrastructure with zero downtime to a highly available, scalable one.

• Set up a monitoring stack.

• Define service capacity planning strategies.

• Implement the application’s CI/CD pipeline using the AWS CI/CD stack.

• Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 10+ Years’ experience in Datacentre Relocation, Lift and Shift Migration, Image Migration, Mass Migration and DB Rehosting

• Experience in Infrastructure Architect AWS

• Exposure in Virtualization

• Install and configure VMware vSphere suite of products, ESX & ESXi Administration, VMWare, Hyper V, KVM Virtualization

• Experience in Architecting Re-host, Re-factor, Rearchitect and Replace Migration/Modernization Engagements

• Good Knowledge in architecting complex Data Centre Relocation and Datacentre to Public Cloud (AWS/Azure/Google) Migration

• Experience in Public Cloud Infrastructure Build and Deployment, Infrastructure Automation (Ansible/Terraform), Networking, Security, HA/DR

• Network, Storage, Capacity Planning, Landing Zone designing, Backup, Monitoring

• Certification in VMWare Product suites, CCNP, MS MCSA

• Expertise in cloud migration using Core AWS Services

• Proficient in cloud watch and AWS Lambada

• Experience using DevOps tools during Migration/Modernization.
