Your Role and Responsibilities
B2B/EDI Implementation Specialist – A Subject Matter Expert in EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) / B2B (Business To Business Integration) domains and is expected to on-board B2B customers onto IBM’s B2B SaaS Solution – Supply Chain Business Network(SCBN) which is the multi-tenant hosted environment. Responsible to carry out end-to-end customer implementations involving activities like creating Business requirement documents, Business flow setups, Trading partner setups, Communication setups, Testing, and Deployment towards onboarding IBM’s Worldwide customers and their Trading Partners.
Typical Job responsibilities would include:
Analysing the Customer’s Integration Requirements
Onboarding customers & trading Partners
Creates communication setups
Configuration of document navigation flows and testing
Completion of deployment in Test and Production
Extend Help to other Subject Matter Experts as needed
Works with Customers & Trading Partners, Project Executives, Sales, and stakeholders
Helps us in navigating through RCAs and Customer Escalations
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
8 to 12 years of relevant Industry Experience.
Candidate should have prior experience on IBM Sterling Integrator implementation and very good knowledge of EAI tools and B2B integration products
Knowledge of various EDI Standards like ANSI, EDIFACT, TRADACOMS, etc.,
Good understanding of business domains such as Retail, Automobile, etc.
Experience handling core implementation activities like creating Business requirement documents, Business flow setups, Trading partner setups, Test cases, Communication setups
Should have knowledge of various communication protocols such as FTP(s), SFTP, AS2, HTTP(s), OFTP2, VAN, SMTP.
Ability to analyze client business/technical requirements and design end to end solution
Experience handling end to end implementations for B2B clients
Should be capable of handling large projects and working with diverse teams
Ability to Work independently with customers, suppliers, sales, and business.
Strong Communication and soft skills
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Demonstrated in-depth experience with EDI software infrastructure, mapping business procedures and data communication systems.
Perform support and troubleshooting tasks for multiple business applications.
Provide work effort and time estimates for development work needed to support enhancements and projects.
Assist with training and rollout plans for new systems or enhancements to existing systems.
Work closely with the Mappers to analyze and verify all data results to ensure a successful implementation.
Coordinate efforts of users, vendors, and other team leads to determine the root cause of issues and lead the escalation process for resolution.
Provide business and technical specification documents in accordance with established standards and procedures, adhering to project plans and time management.
Preferred Experience of having worked on SAP EDI configuration including IDOCs mapping and Workflow.
Work cross-functionally to define implementation design and functional requirements definition.
Perform migration and implementation for Value Added Networks (VAN)
