Your Role and Responsibilities

• Understand the design specification, logic design implementation, System level, IO designs with Serial IP Architecture background and SerDes Phys

• Develop the verification environment and test bench both

• Develop C++/VHDL/Verilog based tests and infrastructure that targets stressful scenarios to measure and evaluate performance data

• Develop scripts in Perl/Python to extract and evaluate performance data from simulation results

• Develop skills in IBM Functional verification tools and emulator tools and apply them successfully

• Work with Design Teams as well as other key stakeholders in resolving/debugging logic design issues and deliver a quality design.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 1-3 Years of experience

• Strong in Functional Verification – Demonstrated execution experience of verification of logic blocks verification.

• Knowledge of Computer Processor Architecture, System level understanding, Serial IP Architecture, -SerDes Phy IP Architecture, Hardware Emulations

• Knowledge of HDLs (Verilog, VHDL, SV), System level Good programming skills in C++, Python/Perl

• Exposure in developing testbench environment, write complex test scenario, debugging and triaging fails

• Good communication skills and be able to work effectively in a global team environment.

• Drive verification coverage closure, lead verification team

• Drive complex scenarios, participate in High level design discussions

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Writing test plans, building random / exhaustive verification environment for hardware emulations, functional and code coverage analysis and debug.

• Serial IP Protocol and SerDes Phy IP Awareness is a plus

• Experience in developing analysis and data visualization tools from large set of regression results
