Your Role and Responsibilities

• Communicate IBMxe2x80x99s Energy Policy to all individuals who can influence Significant Energy Use (SEU)
• Maintain and enhance IBM Cloudxe2x80x99s Energy Management Plan (EnMP), supporting IBM corporate initiates and requirements.
• Ensure all sites have Energy Management Action Plans (EMAPs)
• Manage, track and report progress on Energy tracking and support systems including:
  • IBM Cloud Energy tracking
  • Enterprise Energy Management (EEM) system
    • Bill Entry
    • Measures
    • Annual Data Verification program
  • (World Wide) WW Energy Management & Checklists
  • (World Wide Building Database) WWBldg
  • A/P interface xe2x80x93 DocLink
  • Water Conservation
• Directly supervise and contribute to energy managementxe2x80x99s annual Budget/Fall Plan work.
• Point of contact for all Energy related activities
• Global energy and environmental compliance, as required by local legislation
• Submit energy reports to third party entities where required
• Drive Energy Conservation Initiates across the organization
• Meet IBM Cloud short-term and long-term goals for renewable energy
• Participation in the Environmental Management System (EMS) process
• Proficient with MS Office products, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Familiar with Data tools like Oracle and report building techniques
• Advanced, in depth knowledge of energy principles and concepts
• Ability to document new and existing processes and procedures

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience
  • At least 5 years managing, tracking and reporting progress on multiple projects simultaneously
  • At least 3 years involving critical infrastructure design and functionality – HVAC, electrical, mechanical, building automation, and control systems across a variety of building types (Commercial and Data Center)
  • At least 3 years in energy management, energy conservation, performance contracting of energy engineering
• Certification
  • Certified Energy Manager Certificate
  • Professional Engineer
• Education
  • Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Energy or environmentally related field
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical, mechanical, industrial, or civil)

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 2 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in managing, tracking and reporting progress on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Readiness to travel if required
• English: Fluent
