Your Role and Responsibilities

Who you are:

You will be joining the global IBM MQ team who develop, test and support the IBM MQ product portfolio that is used and trusted by thousands of IBM customers of all sizes, across all industries and in every geography.

What you’ll do:

As a member of team Working for IBM MQ Product development

You will be part of an experienced team that develops, tests and supports MQ working in a collaborative, agile environment, using latest tools and technologies.

You will design, code and test new product function to meet the demands of our customers. The work performed will have a high degree of technical content, is diverse and challenging yet always rewarding.

You will have a passion for problem solving and will develop deep product technical skills that enable you to diagnose and fix software problems.

You will have good personal organisation skills and have the ability to work alone and in a supportive team environment.

As part of the role you will develop skills that enable you to diagnose some of the most challenging customer problems and design, code, test and deliver product fixes to our Customers. A desire to develop your technical skills, engage directly with our global customer base and be part of a successful team are key

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 6-10 years of experience product development

• Strong skills in C programming

• Proven Debugging, troubleshooting problem-solving skills.

• Proven Interpersonal soft, oral, and written communication skills.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams across multiple locations (worldwide).
