Your Role and Responsibilities
As a MS SQL DBA SME, you will be responsible to manage and administer MS SQL Server databases with support of daily operations and helps to develop strategies to improve availability and utilization of MS SQL Servers Environment of multinational clients.

Responsibilities:

• Manage MS SQL server databases
• Develop strategies to Improve availability and utilization of MS SQL Servers environment
• Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.
• Logging, managing, and resolving SQL Server SR’s with Microsoft Support

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Overall 8+ years of IT experience
• Strong SQL Server DBA experience and skills and the technical ability to assist, take over, and even manage very in-depth escalated SQL Server DB support tickets.
• Hands-on operational expertise as an SQL Server DBA on Account administration, AlwaysON, Replication, Log shipping, clustering, backups and recovery, audit reporting, Performance tuning as well as proactive environment health checks
• SQL Cluster environments with Installations and Failovers.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.
• Logging, managing, and resolving SQL Server SR’s with Microsoft Support
• Experience with Code Migration tools is a plus.
• Strong experience in automating regular work using TSQL, PowerShell etc.
• Must have hands on experience and sound knowledge in cloud technologies and SQL architecture/HADR setups
