Introduction

As a Package Consultant at IBM, get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. Our team takes on the challenge of designing, developing and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients’ business environment and achieve business results.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Should have experience in building, configuring, and deploying, troubleshooting and tuning web server farms with Linux.

• Proven knowledge of load-balancer and handling high traffic websites.

• Should have knowledge of Varnish, Redis, Elastic Search

• What you’ll do:

• You will advise clients on application development methodology and tools with focus on e-Commerce applications.

• You will perform as an expert on application development for existing or new applications.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Must have 6+ years of recent Linux system administration experience

• 2 years Experience in The Web hosting support/Server administration.

• Must be comfortable handling client interaction

• Well versed in different Web servers such as Apache, Nginx and MySQL(Structured Query Language) configurations.

• Proven knowledge in Server/Website migrations.

• Proven knowledge of Server Tweaking, Hardening and other vulnerability fixes.
